The experience
Xplor is Grupo Xcaret's adventure park, made for those who prefer adrenaline to quiet sightseeing. You move through the jungle and underground caves, combining ziplines, amphibious vehicles, rafts and swimming in stalactite rivers. It is an action-packed day, with access to all the park's attractions included.
Your ticket includes two circuits of seven ziplines each (3.8 km in total), including the highest in the Riviera Maya; an amphibious vehicle to drive through the jungle, bridges and flooded caverns; the 740-meter Underground Expedition; a raft ride on an underground river, paddling with your hands; and a circuit to swim in a stalactite river. Also included are hamacuatizaje, the Toboganxote slide and a cave walk. A buffet lunch, unlimited snacks and non-alcoholic drinks and a locker for two people are included. Photos and souvenirs are not included.
There are safety requirements worth knowing before you book. The minimum age is 5; for the ziplines a minimum height of 1.40 m or 40 kg is required and a maximum of 136 kg, and to drive the amphibious vehicles you must be over 18. Check these conditions if you travel with children or in a group.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, water shoes and 100% biodegradable sunscreen. You can enter on your own or choose a departure with round-trip transportation from Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotels. Children 5 to 11 pay the child rate, and ages 0 to 4 are free. Pick your date in the calendar and an agent confirms with you on WhatsApp.
