The experience
Xoxi is a Mexican fiesta aboard trajineras, the colorful boats reminiscent of the Xochimilco canals. It is an evening plan of about 3 hours in Cancun, starting at 7:15 pm, made to enjoy with friends, as a couple or in a group, with music, traditional food and plenty of atmosphere.
The night begins with a welcome kermés, with aguas frescas, live mariachi, a Xorbito tasting and games. Then comes the night trajinera ride through the canals, with a tasting of traditional dishes that are very representative of Mexico and an open bar with tequila, beer, rum, vodka, aguas frescas and soft drinks. A host accompanies you during the ride with games, information about the dishes and lots of atmosphere.
There is live music from different Mexican genres: mariachi, norteño, ranchero, jarana, marimba and banda de pueblo. Professional photos and souvenirs are not included. It is a good way to end a day of excursions, or to have an evening with local flavor. Because of the open bar and the hour, the minimum age is 5; children under 5 are not admitted.
Departures with round-trip transportation are offered from Cancun, Puerto Morelos and the Riviera Maya, along with the option to go on your own. Bring comfortable clothes and a light layer for the night. Pick your date in the calendar and your departure point, and an agent confirms availability and payment with you on WhatsApp. Children 5 to 11 pay the child rate.
