The experience
Paradise has a name: Holbox. Located at the northern tip of Quintana Roo, it is known worldwide as the home of many species, mainly birds such as flamingos, and as the sanctuary of the world's largest fish, the Whale Shark. Discover on a boat ride its heavenly, calm beaches, surrounded by surprising natural views and wide sandbanks. Walk its picturesque streets and take photos at its murals.
On a boat ride you discover its heavenly, calm beaches, surrounded by surprising natural views and wide sandbanks. The route includes stops at Isla Pasión, about 30 minutes, Punta Mosquito, about 2 hours, and the town of Holbox, one hour, plus swimming in Yalahau lagoon and, on board, five drinks and a snack.
In town you walk its picturesque sand streets and take photos at its murals. Lunch includes ceviche, a torta, salads and white wine, which gives the day a local touch. The conservation taxes are not included and are paid directly on site, so bring cash, which will also be handy for purchases in town.
It is a long day with plenty of sun, so prepare well: bring a swimsuit, towel, cap, and biodegradable sunscreen and repellent. Children 0 to 2 are considered infants, and ages 3 to 11 pay the child rate. The tour departs with transportation from Cancun or the Riviera Maya and does not run every day: pick your date in the calendar and an agent confirms with you on WhatsApp.
