The experience

Xichén Deluxe is the most comfortable version of Grupo Xcaret's excursion to Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. You travel by panoramic coach from your hotel or meeting point, in Cancun or the Riviera Maya, with a light breakfast on board, and the day includes the archaeological site, a cenote and a Yucatecan lunch in Valladolid.

On board you have a light breakfast (baguette, a pound cake and juice) and soft drinks, bottled water and beer. At Chichén Itzá you receive a radio guide with headphones to follow the tour with your certified bilingual guide, plus a reusable water bottle with a bottle holder for the archaeological zone. Then you visit a cenote with a swim, life jacket rental included, and have a buffet of Yucatecan cuisine, with drinks, at the La Casona de Valladolid restaurant.

The return transfer to your hotel or meeting point is included. The itinerary may change the order of the visits depending on operations. A towel and tips are not included. In the archaeological zone climbing the pyramids is not allowed, and video cameras have an extra fee. It is a long tour, about 12 hours, so be ready for a full day of travel and activity.

Bring light clothes, a cap, sunscreen, a swimsuit, a towel and comfortable shoes. Children 5 to 11 pay the child rate, and ages 0 to 4 are free. The tour runs Monday to Saturday: pick your date in the calendar and an agent confirms with you on WhatsApp.
