The experience
Xenses is a Grupo Xcaret park designed to play with the senses. Instead of speed rides, it offers sensory circuits, optical illusions and spaces that confuse sight, balance and touch. It is a half-day visit, ideal if you want something different, fun and unconventional in the Riviera Maya.
The visit starts at the Rehilete and splits into two routes. The Ruta del Sentir passes through a Path of Dwarfs and Giants, the total darkness of the Xensatorium ecosystems, the caverns of the Labyrinth of Underground Arteries, El Edén and the Xítrico Garden. The Ruta del Hacer includes the Latido, an original Village, El Respiro to rest in hammocks, the Xapuzón, a slide, a zipline called Vuelo de Pájaro, the Riolajante current and a full mud coverage at Lodorama.
There are also visual games, optical illusions and fantastic settings, and an Obsequiario to buy souvenirs. The Xnack offers snacks to recover energy, at an extra cost. Your ticket includes a locker, restrooms and showers, an ATM and WiFi; food and drinks, photos and souvenirs are not included.
Bring a swimsuit, water shoes, a change of clothes and biodegradable sunscreen. The minimum age is 5, and it is not recommended for people with heart problems or claustrophobia. You can enter on your own or choose a departure with round-trip transportation from Playa del Carmen or Riviera Maya hotels. Children 5 to 11 pay the child rate, and ages 0 to 4 are free.
