The experience
Tulum and Xel-Há All Inclusive combines culture and nature in one day: first the Tulum archaeological site, the walled Mayan city facing the Caribbean Sea, and then the afternoon at Xel-Há, a natural aquarium where river and cenote water mixes with the sea. It is a full-day tour, run by Grupo Xcaret.
The visit to Tulum is made with a certified bilingual guide, with round-trip air-conditioned transportation from your hotel. Afterwards you enter Xel-Há with everything included: snacks and buffet, unlimited drinks with a domestic open bar, snorkel gear, a locker and a towel. The departure from Xel-Há is at 5:00 pm.
Special activities inside the park, such as dolphins, Sea Trek and Snuba, have an extra cost, as do photos and tips. Video cameras at Tulum also have an extra fee. It is an excellent combination if you want to see history and also spend a few hours of beach and snorkeling without worrying about costs.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, a cap and biodegradable sunscreen. Children 5 to 11 pay the child rate, and children under 5 are free (no seat). The tour does not run on Tuesdays: pick your date in the calendar and an agent confirms with you on WhatsApp.
