The experience
Chichén Itzá Mayan Cuisine Plus is the most complete version of the excursion to Chichén Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. It has the same full-day route as Mayan Cuisine, with a bilingual cultural guide and round-trip transportation in air-conditioned units from Cancun or the Riviera Maya, and adds details meant to make the day more comfortable.
Besides admissions to the archaeological zone and the guided visit at Chichén Itzá, it includes a gastronomic demonstration and a visit to an artisans' village, a buffet lunch with one drink, a visit to Nool-Ha cenote with life jackets and lockers included, and a visit to the magical town of Valladolid, for 30 minutes. During the tour you receive two bottles of water.
What sets the Plus apart from Mayan Cuisine: a box lunch and 5 drinks on board, a beach bag and biodegradable repellent, a drink with lunch, life jackets and lockers at the cenote and the visit to the artisans' village. Photos and tips are not included, and large backpacks are not allowed in the archaeological zone. The return is approximately between 6:30 and 7:30 pm.
Bring light clothes, a swimsuit, a towel and comfortable shoes. Children 0 to 2 are considered infants, and ages 3 to 11 pay the child rate.
